The Indian In The Cupboard by, Lynne R Banks

Significance:
this book is important bacause it is something that is fun to read. It is an old book and is a very good story between a boy his magic cupboard and a plastic indian. It is a book that makes you happy and is not slow at all. It is also important because it teaches you to belive. You should care about this book because It will make you happy.

Perspective:
The author as a child could have gotten a cupboard and she might have pretended that it was magic of course it realy wasn't magic. Her friend might have given her her old toys. many things in this book could have happened to the author but I am not sure what.

Evidence:
The argument that is being made is that omari is fighting him self to see if he should keep the indian out and alive or keep him locked up in the cupboard forever. This argument is made by Omari to himself .

Connection:
This book connects to the real world because some of the things in this book can really happen like getting a cupboard but one that isn't magic. Getting toys and ditching school. The work in the book applies to my own life because in the book omari goes to school and he has gotten toys for his birthday. I go to school and I have gotten toys for my birthday.

Supposition:
If this book never happened I don't think that it would affect the world because no one would ever know if it ever happened and everyone would be used to it not being here. If I changed part of the problems in this book then the book would change in a lot of ways.

Ramona The Brave

The book I am reading is Ramona The Brave By Beverly Cleary.

Significance

The book is important because it is fun for people to read it and if you enjoy reading Beverly Cleary's books than you like this and you will think that it is important. The event in this story is when Ramona fights a dog and the whole book is about Ramona acting like she is tough and when she gets to the dog she actually shows that she is tough.

Perspective

The author, in the authors real life could have always thought that she was tough when she was little or maybe she could have gotten in a dog fight on the way to school. Those are somethings that happened in the book that she might have taken from her own. The person who made this book is Beverly Cleary.

Evidence

The argument being made is that Ramona is not tough and everyone thinks that she is just thinking that she is tough. In the book Ramona tells them about how tough she is and she argues with them.

Connection

This work connects to the real world because this stuff can happen to people. You could get in a dog fight and maybe when you were little you thought that you were the toughest around. This could affect the future by teaching young kids to stand up for them selves.

If there wasn't this book I don't think that it would affect anything because if it was never here nothing would be dfferent

The authors experiences might influence the ideas in this book if the author ever built a small wooden hut or liked to read or went to a school like in the book. The author might have lived in a neighborhood like in the book. The authors life could have been like the book.This book was made by Katherine Paterson.

Significance

This book is important because it talks about using your imagination and with out imagination in your life there are no discoveries and it is fun to read this book too! You should care about this book because it is fun to read and this book brings your imagination out in you and it might inspire you to do things that you thought were impossible. This book also brings out your emotions!

Bridge to Terabithia

The book I read this month was Bridge to Terabithia by Katherine Paterson. I reccomend this book to children.

Suppossition

If this book never happened then I don't think that anything would change because this book is not that important to read. It doesn't affect you in any way. If I changed a part of the problem, Henry would not have to make sure Ribsy doesn't get in trouble and Henry's dad would not take him on the fishing trip.

Connections

The book connects to the real world because it is something that can happen because it is about life and it could happen and maybe it already did. The book has been influenced by the past because this story does not take place in modern times. This book could affect the future by telling people to stick to what they agreed too.
